“Express Yourself” – English Language Fest

On March 12, 2022, Amore Prime School – English Division of the primary department presented an English Fest themed “Express Yourself”.

Amidst the limitations brought about by the pandemic, the school was able to organize the event successfully. The event’s goal was to encourage and facilitate the students to express themselves using the English language. It was a level-per-level competition that was open for Primary 1 to Primary 5 students. The training of the students was done through the English Support Program (Class), a system that is integrated with the school’s English Curriculum.

There were 4 categories in the said competition, the Show and Tell Contest for Primary 1; Story Reading for Primary 2; News Reading for Primary 3, and Primary 4 level.

With a full house attendance of all the students from Primary 1 – Primary 5 via a video conferencing platform, the event was opened by inspiring opening remarks by the primary department principal, Elita Sari Girsang, S.P.,S.Pd.,Gr.

The outcome of the event made an impact on the students, teachers, and parents as well. It was proof that second language learners can be as good as first language speakers.

The school has aimed to develop more projects to facilitate the development of the students learning process.

Amore Prime School is dedicated to pursuing excellence in providing a better education for its students.

Healthy Food Makes You Feel Good

On October 6th, P5 participated in an activity themed “Healthy Food Makes You Feel Good. Through this activity, P5 students will learn about the difference between healthy food and unhealthy food.

During the event, students were explained by the P5 teachers, Mr. Syukur, Mr. Gio, and Ms. Ina, about which foods to eat or avoid. The teachers explained about the nutrition contained in healthy food and unhealthy food. In addition, there were also some explanations of the impact of these two types of food on the body.

The students were really excited to give their attention to the given material. From that, students are also expected to be able to pay more attention to their food menu every day in order to improve their health and abilities.

From this activity, we hope that we can all eat healthy foods more often and reduce consumption of unhealthy foods.

“I’m healthy, I’m good; You’re healthy, You’re good; We are healthy, We are happy”.

Independence Day Celebration

Last August 17, 2021, Amore Prime School conducted a virtual Indonesian Independence Day Flag Ceremony. The pandemic has never faded the passion, patriotism, and nationalism of the teachers and students.

In celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day, the students joined virtual competitions from level P1 – P6. The competitions had two categories: P1-P3 (Lower Primary) and P4-P6 (Higher Primary)

Amore Prime School Primary Department stands hopeful that this pandemic will pass soon, envisioning the resume of face-to-face learning.

Let us be a generation that possesses the strength and determination to keep on moving forward. Challenging times are the best times to grow and be molded. The best future awaits.

APS Eid Al Adha 1442H Celebration

Gema Takbir menggema diseluruh pelosok negeri, sebagai wujud ungkapan syukur umat Muslim  kepada Sang Khalik di hari raya Idul Adha.

Seiring datangnya Hari Raya Idul Adha 1442 Hijriah,

Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh murid , orang tua, guru karyawan dan jajaran yayasan, serta semua pihak yang telah mendukung kegiatan Perayaan Hari-hari  Besar Agama, sebagai wujud toleransi dan keberagaman di Amore Prime School.

Dimulai dengan kegiatan zoom untuk mengenal lebih jauh sejarah perintah berkurban dari kisah Nabi Ibrahim dan Ismail. Harapan kami dengan kegiatan tersebut, siswa dapat meneladani nilai-nilai yang terkandung  dari perintah berkurban.

Selain itu kami juga mengajak kepada seluruh murid, untuk bersama-sama berbagi dihari raya Idul Adha, dengan mengumpulkan donasi secara sukarela, sebagai salah satu sarana untuk melatih kepedulian dan toleransi siswa, terutama yang beragama lain. Adapun dana yang terkumpul untuk donasi tersebut sebesar Rp. 13.710.000. sehingga bisa mendapatkan 3 ekor kambing, dan Infaq untuk kemakmuran masjid. Adapun penyembelihan kami serahkan di 3 tempat :

  1. Masjid Jami’ Al Ma’wa Karang Mulya (Samping Pombensin)
  2. Masjid Al Mukarrom  Karang Mulya (Sebelum komplek Keuangan)
  3. Musholla Darrussalam Karang Mulya (Belakang Balai Metro Permata I)

Semoga kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, bisa menjadi media pembelajaran, terutama untuk seluruh peserta didik di Amore Prime School.

Testimoni Lois Vitri Dwi Harini – Mama Hanie

Sudah 6 tahun Hanie menjadi bagian dari sekolah “Amore Prime School”. Ingat ketika masuk kelas Nursery, Hanie yang harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungan baru, menangis dan merasa takut ditinggal maminya pulang. Namun guru Tk di Amore dengan sigap dan telaten memeluk, membimbing dan memberikan kenyamanan buat anak-anak didiknya salah satunya Hanie.

Sekarang Hanie sudah mau naik kelas 4. Selalu semangat untuk pergi ke sekolah karena menemukan teman-teman yang baik, guru-guru yang telaten membimbingnya, juga lingkungan sekolah yang nyaman. Ketika libur sekolah selalu bertanya “ kapan masuk sekolah lagi?” Hanie merindukan teman-teman, guru-guru dan suasana yang menyenangkan di lingkungan sekolah.

Semoga Amore Prime School semakin maju, mencetak generasi yang berprestasi dan diberkati Tuhan, juga menjadi berkat buat banyak orang

Selama anak saya Randy bersekolah di Amore Prime School, saya melihat perkembangan Bahasa Inggrisnya sangat pesat. Di Amore bahasa pengantar di kelas menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia sehingga anak-anak menjadi terbiasa. Homeroom teachernya juga sangat care dengan anak-anak kita. Penyelesaian tugas lebih banyak dilakukan di sekolah untuk memastikan anak-anak mengerti dengan tugas yang dikerjakan.

Dimasa Pandemi Covid-19, Amore juga menjalankan online learning secara optimal dengan menggunakan online learning secara optimal dengan menggunakan online platform  yang ada, seperti  video conference dengan skype dan zoom meeting, serta penggunaan google classroom. Amore mewajibkan siswa untuk menggunakan seragam sekolah saat melaksanakan online learning yang membuat siswa merasa seperti di sekolah dan bukan libur di rumah. Sejauh ini anak saya enjoy dengan metode pembelajaran di Amore. Terima kasih dan sukses terus untuk Amore Prime School

Know Yourself And Be Thoughtful

Amore’s Pendalaman Pribadi was scheduled on 4-5 February 2020 in East Jakarta themed “Know Yourself and Be Thoughtful”. There were more than 70 students of Primary 5 and Primary 6 who joined this event. Ranging from multiple games activities to outdoor discussions, various sessions that helped the students to know their selves, we had it all under one roof. The school pulled out a fantabulous pursuit to make the event a successful one.
Amore’s Pendalaman Pribadi was started on February 4th, 2020. The students and teachers were left the school in the morning. It took 2 hours from Tangerang to East Jakarta. This event was aimed to help the students to know their selves better and prepare them to be ready in facing upcoming stage of life. There were five different sessions which was presented by two different speakers Ibu Yasinta, the chairwomen of Yayasan Syuradikara, and Romo Sigit SVD.
Although all the sessions found lot of students’ attention, a few turned out to be students’ real favorite session, such as “Be a humble and thoughtful student” and “the Sex Education”. These two sessions were possibly answered their curiosity and brought them to realize the phase of life that they are facing today. Overall, Pendalaman Pribadi 2020 was a happy yet meaningful event for the students and the teachers of Amore Prime School. A big thank you to all of the foundation,principal, teachers, and students of Amore Prime School. We look forward to seeing you all at the next Pendalaman Pribadi.

Adiwiyata Reward

Amore Prime School is a school registered as an Adiwiyata School.
Adiwiyata School itself means to create ideal conditions for schools as a place for learning and creating awareness of school residents (teachers, students and employees) of the environment, so that schools can be responsible for saving the environment and sustainable development.
Adiwiyata does not mean competition among schools but how we develop and introduce the children to take good care of the environment from the early childhood from reducing plastic wastes, sorting trash and caring for plants.
So now the kids are encouraged to bring their own lunch boxes and drinking bottles.
In order to create this caring for the enviroment, we develop environmental learning activities for these children so they care about the environment around them.
Amore Prime School has passed the city level assessment stage
And now we have become one of the candidates for provincial level of Adiwiyata schools.
Hopefully we can create a better environment
For teachers and students and parents :”Keep up the enthusiasm to take care of our environment.”
