On October 12 and  21, English Primary Division held English Fest event.  English Fest is one of English support programmes for primary students at Amore Prime School that provide  opportunities for the students to take part in several English competitions.

This program is held to boost students’ self-esteem in using their English. Furthermore, it can motivate students to speak in public. This activity is  also expected to foster the spirit of Amore Primary School Students, especially in the field of English studies.

There are three kinds of competition in this event. Those are spelling bee, word scramble, and guess the word. The competition are divided into two session, primary 1-3 and primary 4-6.

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia promotes COVID Vaccination Programs.

Last September 10, 2022, Amore Prime School, in collaboration with the Karang Tengah Health Center facilitated 2- doses vaccination for Amore Prime School elementary students.

The purpose of the vaccination is to increase immunity, in addition to preventing new mutations from Covid-19 cases.

Students who received the second doses of the vaccine were very enthusiastic and calm.

 “I used to be afraid of needles,” said one of the students.” “I feel calmer after receiving the second dose.”

Parents of students were also very supportive because their children now have successfully undergone the 2-dose vaccination program.

In line with the parents’ thoughts, the teaching staff of Amore Prime School also expressed their gratitude.

“On behalf of Amore Prime School, I would like to thank the medical team from the Karang Tengah Health Center for providing their service to students and to the school itself by conducting COVID 19 Vaccination for the students,”

Mrs. Elita Sari Girsang, S.P.,S.Pd.,Gr. – Primary Department Principal said.

She also expressed her gratefulness to the parents and the School Foundation for facilitating this program.

“We also hope that the collaboration between APS and the Karang Tengah Health Center will continue, not only in terms of providing vaccines, but also in terms of other health care programs for the APS family,” she hoped.

Indonesian celebrated the commemoration of the 2022 National Sports Day (Haornas) in various ways.

Various attractions were performed by Amore Prime School students, including; Fun Aerobics, Traditional Sports, & Special Performance by Archery Athletes.

Located in the front yard of APS School, the Principal of SD Amore Prime School, Mrs. Elita Sari Girsang, S.P.,S.Pd.,Gr. officially opened the Haornas activity by emphasizing the importance of exercising with a happy heart.

“Exercise with a cheerful spirirt,” she said in front of the students, Friday (9/9/2022).

Furthermore, this inspirational figure who is called by the students as Mrs. Elita on a daily basis also said that everything will look beautiful and fun, if everyone goes through the routine with a smile.

Because a happy heart will be manifested in behavior and can also be seen in daily tasks in the APS School environment.

Responding to this, the students also underwent the 2022 Haornas commemoration with great enthusiasm.

After the aerobics exercise, the archery team belonging to the Association of Indonesian Archers, Al Madinah Archery from Tangerang, Banten, also taught archery techniques for APS students.

Not to forget, a number of APS teaching staff also participated in archery while being guided by a team of professional archers.

Welcome to our new P1 students!

On July 18, 2022, Amore Prime School held a welcoming ceremony for our new students. The theme for 2022 is ‘Welcome to the New Journey’. After a long year of online learning, students can finally go to school and meet their classmates and their teachers.

The ceremony held also closely follow government health protocol, where students, teachers, and all employees wear masks while in the school area. Before entering the school area, students are asked to wash their hands thoroughly and have their body temperature checked.

At the end of the ceremony, the students stamp their hand on a white sheet as a symbol of them becoming a primary students. The students were very enthusiastic and happy when doing this. The ceremony continued with ensemble performances from the 5th and 6th grade students.

Academic Year of 2022/2023 is now officially begin! Best wishes for all our students and may you have a happy and wonderful year!

Sekolah Amore Prime School pada tanggal 21 Mei 2022 merayakan hari besar keagamaan Buddha yang dikenal dengan Hari Raya Waisak. Hari Raya Waisak merupakan hari suci Agama Buddha yang dijadikan sebagai hari libur satu satunya dalam kalender di Indonesia maupun dunia. Bagi umat Buddha Hari Waisak itu untuk memperingati tiga peristiwa penting dalam sejarah kehidupan Buddha Gotama, yaitu:
Lahirnya Bodhisatta Sidharta di Taman Lumbini pada tahun 623 SM.
Pertapa Gotama mencapai penerangan sempurna di Buddha Gaya pada tahun 588 SM.
Buddha Gotama mencapai Maha Parinibbana di Kusinara pada tahun 543 SM.

Dengan adanya tiga peristiwa penting dalam dalam sejarah yang terjadi pada waktu yang sama yaitu saat Purnama di bulan Waisak, Sekolah Amore Prime School mengadakan kembali kegiatan Perayaan Peringatan Hari Raya Trisuci Waisak yang diikuti siswa TK, SD, SMP & SMA Amore Prime School. Dengan adanya Peringatan Hari Raya Tri suci Waisak dapat dapat membawa kebaikan bagi sekolah terkait meningkatnya satu rasa toleransi antar umat beragama.

Perayaan terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar, dengan di pandu oleh MC Jason Sebastian dari SMA kelas 11 dan Jesley dari SMP kelas 9. Di tengah acara berlangsung, siswa dan guru juga mendengarkan pesan Waisak yang di bawakan oleh seorang Bhikkhu Cattaseno dengan mengusung tema “Moderasi Beragama Membangun Kedamaian”

Moderasi agama bertujuan untuk menemukan persamaan dalam perbedaan dan bukan mempertajam perbedaan dengan menunjukkan sikap eksklusif. Moderasi beragama ini, diharapkan dapat menjunjung nilai kemanusiaan dengan menghadirkan keseimbangan dalam pemahaman agama di tengah masyarakat.

Kegiatan Perayaan Waisak tersebut menjadi panduan utama dalam mengembangkan peserta didik dalam lembaga untuk memadukan antara ilmu yang di pelajari dengan kejadian yang ada. Dari kegiatan tersebut untuk meningkatkan ketakwaan, wawasan, pola pikir peserta didik serta toleransi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan akademik dan non akademik menjadi “dua sayap yang selalu berjalan bersama”.

Self Awareness atau Pendalaman Pribadi merupakan Program wajib tahunan yang di ikuti oleh siswa-siswi Amore Prime School khususnya di jenjang SD yaitu kelas 5 dan 6. Latar belakang dibentuknya acara ini karena, guru melihat adanya kebutuhan anak-anak untuk belajar hal yang baru diluar pembelajaran regular didalam kelas yang sudah ada. Pembelajaran baru itu meliputi, karakter diri, attitude, spiritual dan sex education. Sekolah melihat anak-anak membutuhkan ke 4 hal tersebut di usia mereka yang sebentar lagi akan memasuki dunia remaja.

Diharapkan siswa-siswi mendapatkan informasi dari sumber yang benar dan mendapat pendampingan yang tepat. Maka dari itu sasaran dari acara ini adalah untuk dua kelas terakhir di jenjang SD, yaitu kelas 5 dan 6.

Atas Rahmat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, program ditahun ini dapat berjalan dengan baik di tanggal 25 – 26 Februari untuk kelas 6 dan tanggal 4 – 5 Maret untuk kelas 5, dengan mengusung tema “Using Social Media & Gadget Wisely”. Acara tersebut berlangsung dua hari, di hari Jumat dan Sabtu, total siswa yang mengikuti acara ini adalah 83 orang.

Alasan pemilihan tema adalah bahwa anak-anak harus dibekali dengan pandangan dan sikap bijak dalam bersosial media dan menggunakan gawainya di masa sekarang ini. Kami mengemas dan menyajikan program kepada siswa-siswi dengan melihat sisi penggunakan sosial media dan gawai dari sudut pandang spiritual, karakter diri serta sex education.

Untuk mengisi acara tersebut sekolah melibatkan pembicara yang kompeten pada bidangnya, untuk sesi spiritual agama kristen bersama Ps. Garth Armagatlie, agama katolik bersama Romo Matius Pawai, CICM, agama islam bersama Ustad Maliki dan agama buddha bersama Bhikku Abhi Punno. Untuk sesi karakter diri anak-anak di isi oleh Ms Elita Sari Girsang, S.P., S.Pd.Gr. dan Ibu Tjin Yasinta Suryanto, S.H. Sesi terakhir tentang sex education kami mengundang narasumber dari “Pelangi Remaja” yaitu bapak Y.P Lelono Broto, S,Ag,MM, serta Ms Irene Aranding.

Harapan sekolah tentunya setelah anak-anak mengikuti kegiatan ini mereka dapat lebih bijak dan dapat mengatur diri dengan penuh tanggung jawab dalam bersosial media dan menggunakan gawainya. Serta anak-anak makin mantap dan siap untuk memasuki jenjang remaja yang sebentar lagi akan mereka hadapi.

Homeroom of P6A

On february 12, we celebrated Chinese New Year together. Amore Prime School always celebrate this event every year, to teach children the importance of respecting the culture of every tribe in Indonesia and respecting the differences that exist in our country.

Each students from nursery to p6 performed something with their class during the event like singing, dancing, even reciting poem and story telling in Mandarin. The teachers also gave a Lion Dance performance for the students. We hope with this event, students will be more interested about the Chinese Culture 中国文化 and be more confident in speaking Mandarin.

Untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka, pada tanggal 19 Januari 2022 Amore Prime School kembali bekerja sama dengan dinas kesehatan kota Tangerang untuk mengadakan vaksinasi gratis untuk murid-murid Amore Prime School kelas Primary P1, P2 dan P5. Sebelumnya kami juga sudah mengadakan vaksinasi untuk P3, P4, P6 dan juga Junior High.
